Innovairre’s entry into India was announced at an event at the CEE Auditorium. The event featured experts who deliberated on passivity in seeking donors, opportunities from the largest Indian middle class, need for networking in the community, and leveraging digital and social channels to revolutionize communications for social good. Corporate social responsibility and defining the sustainability commitment at the grass roots were discussed, as well.

Delivering the keynote address, Mr. Don McKenzie, President and CGO of Innovaire, spoke extensively about how Innovairre plans to help nonprofit organizations by fundraising and supporting agencies through multichannel engagements and pioneering data and digital. He felt that some of the problems Indian NGOs have are over-dependence on a single stream of funding, lack of commitment, insufficient networking in the community, and not fully leveraging digital and social channels. He felt that corporate social responsibility would benefit corporations as well as nonprofits in the long run.
